Guess What?

Unfortunately, I forgot to write an exciting post for this morning.

Unfortunately, I have to work first thing this morning.

and Unfortunately, I'll probably be late because here I am wasting time at my computer...

but guess what!?

My mister and I are going to Tennessee this week!

This vacation is very last minute, and I'll be lucky if I can get out of working on Thursday (the only day I'm scheduled to work this week), but hopefully everything will work out, and we'll be headed off to the mountains either Tuesday afternoon or first thing Wednesday morning. 

I was beginning to think there was no hope of me getting a vacation this summer, so I'm especially excited about this! The only down side is that we'll be driving... It's a 12 hour drive + there will be all kinds of traffic because it's right around the 4th of July. * 

*Let me just point out that this was Garrett's dad's idea.

Garrett just got back from Tennessee, so he isn't particularly overjoyed about going, but I'm excited! I know Garrett will have a good time if he tries to, he just likes being grumpy.

I'm hoping to go white-water rafting, kayaking, ziplining, hiking, shopping, and maybe horseback riding.

Garrett is hoping to sleep through the entire vacation.

Maybe we'll reach a compromise.

I do love naps, after all.
