He Thinks I'm Nerdy

Here's my first day of school outfit from Tuesday! Garrett said I looked like a cute little nerd.

At least he added the cute part, right?

I'm still not sure I'm 100% on these glasses, but now that I'm back to wearing glasses, it's tough being without them.

So far classes have been exciting! I already have lots of homework and projects, though, and I'm not particularly overjoyed about it, but I did find out that four of my five classes won't even have a final exam. Hooray!

Lucky for me, I have no classes today! Mister and I are going to spend some time together to relax, and then tomorrow morning we're going to drive home for the long weekend.

A Mini-Update

          Yesterday was homework day, so no exciting post for today. Sad face, I know. Yesterday was my busiest day so far. It was a good day for me! But for poor Garrett, it was a little too stressful. Poor boy. I had Computers in Business around noon, which is super easy, has no final exam, and due to a change in the teacher's schedule, I officially have no classes on Friday! My second class was Art & Humanities. The teacher is young and interesting, and we'll be talking about the self this semester. Kind of cool except for the part where there isn't any art. Guys... I like art. My last class was... not so good. The teacher seemed miserable, but he did know his stuff. It's Business Calculus. I've taken 2 calculus classes already in high school (although I didn't do too hot in them), so hopefully I'll at least remember a little bit of information. The teacher did say we won't be doing any Trig, though (cos, sin, tan, all that garbage...) Thank goodness! I couldn't be happier! Thankfully mister and I each only have one class tomorrow. Hopefully he calms down and isn't too stressed tomorrow. That's all for today, hope you all have a lovely rest of the week!

The Dorm

Finally I had time to snap some pictures of my dorm! I still feel like the walls are a little bare, but I'm excited they've at least got some things covering the walls! As fun as being in the dorm has been, I'm even more excited to get my own home so I can actually paint and put up permanent decor!

Anyway, my class yesterday was exciting! The teacher had an interesting accent, and the class seemed easy + fun! The fact that there's no final exam for that class just makes matters even better. 

 

Songs & Words #2

A lot of you seemed to like my little compilation of pretty words last week, so I'm considering making this a weekly feature. I pin so many pretty things like this on Pinterest, and then I never look at them again, so this is definitely a good way to keep my favorites fresh, and of course it gives me an opportunity to share them with you guys!

Today is the first day of classes! For real this time, guys.

I can't wait! Unfortunately (Yes, I'm saying unfortunately, I'm actually sad about this) I only have one class today. It's my Geographic Perspective class - I have no idea what the class is going to be like. I just needed more credits, and the lady helping me sign up for things just threw me into this one.

Hopefully it'll be fun, or easy at the very least.

I'm supposed to have two classes today, but English got canceled because of the Republican National Convention being in town. Tomorrow I'll have three classes, and then Thursday and Friday I'll only have one class each day. Hooray!

Hopefully I'll be able to share some more pictures of my dorm with you guys! I'm hoping to go home and grab a camera this weekend so it isn't just phone photos here on the blog all of the time.

HM #4 + Strange Faces

These are whats making me happy this week :

I want to say that by far the happiest part of my past week was getting my laptop back. No joke, I thought for sure I would tear up a little bit when my dad brought it to me. The screen had been cracked for a couple of months, and it was just heartbreaking to look at!

As for free things, we get so much random free stuff on campus, it's ridiculous.

I've already gotten 2 nice cups, 2 pairs of sunglasses, a flashdrive, a fancy planner, a lanyard, and a bunch of food and product samples.

I finally got my glasses! Isn't that exciting? I'm not 100% sure about them just yet. They're very... different. 

This outfit is actually from yesterday. It was an unplanned shoot, and none of the photos mister took turned out very well... Oops!

Today was supposed to be the first official day of classes!

Thankfully Unfortunately, the Hurricane coming our way has classes canceled for Monday.

Darn.

At first, college food excited me. There were so many options in the dining hall. There was so much fresh fruit and yogurt and random yummy things, but now... Now it's all kind of boring me. I'm over it.

I want to cook for myself. 

Sure, I have an unlimited meal plan, but it doesn't make much of a difference when you're a finicky eater and there's nothing yummy around.

I just want a cupcake...

I'm too Girly

There's a good chance I won't be getting to any of my classes on Monday... Apparently we've got a tropical storm/hurricane coming our way!

On top of that we have the Republican National Convention coming to town, and there's expected to be a lot of riots "disruptions" around town.

People are stupid. If you don't like a political party, don't riot and be an idiot, just show who you support through your votes.

Anyway, I'm feeling obnoxiously girly lately. There are party girls, tomboys, rocker chicks, and everything in between here, and I'm just obnoxiously girly.

A dress almost every day...

I'm happy with how I dress and how I am, I just don't feel like I haven't quite found where I fit.

I'm sure everyone goes through this!

At least I hope they do.
